Dive Into the Data

Mobile Pathways just launched a suite of new interactive dashboards with one mission in mind: giving attorneys, nonprofits, and the public unprecedented access to immigration court data.

From third-country removals to judge profiles and bond tracking, the data powering advocacy is now at your fingertips: free, transparent, and updated monthly.

The Bond Decline

Bond hearings have declined significantly over the last month. By April, the Ninth Circuit's stay and a second circuit upholding Yajure-Hurtado left immigration judges with limited legal basis to grant bond which is reflected in the significant drop of bond hearings and approvals.

To track this shift, we built an interactive dashboard using a revised methodology developed by Ben Mann, Camila Feltrin, and Elizabeth Young. It gives you court-level visibility into one of the most notable changes in immigration detention. Read about our approach here and explore the data below.

Third Country Removals Wane

Third-country removals are slowing, but the mechanism behind them hasn't stopped. Total ACA pretermission orders have fallen since their peak, consistent with the purported DHS halt we reported last month alongside The Associated Press. Honduras, Ecuador, and Uganda remain the top destinations. Our dashboard tracks it all monthly, built on EOIR records analyzed with Human Rights First, Refugees International, and the Center for Refugees & Gender Studies.
